OOTD - Review 2.

Here we go, review 2.

"Cruel to be Kind
The vocalist has a nice tone, in a Rufus Wainwright way-- carrying the song. The instrumentation has a retro 50s vibe, or maybe a post-hippie backlash 70s vibe, like the Squeeze or something. Fuzzy sweater music, m
aybe with a classic drink, a brandy, or a hot toddy."

This is the classic ambiguous type of review where I can't quite tell whether they like it or not. They still point out what they thought was good, which is positive. But like many that do this, they just couldn't help but get a little dig in with the 'fuzzy sweater' thing. Ha. It's actually more of a slight on the people that might choose to listen to my stuff than on the music itself. Now now! I think they meant this;

But the term 'fuzzy sweater' tends to make me think more of something like this:

Anyway, thanks to someone from a Massachusetts group called 'Crystal Understanding' for planting the above image in my mind and clarifying the ilk of my potential fanbase for me. I'm sure there's at least one creature not too unlike the one photographed above, listening.
